Raven is the visiting player's pick at Sandestin. RTJ Jr.'s routing through marshes and pines gives you variety the other Sandestin publics don't have. Greens are firm and quick. If you've got time for one Sandestin course as a non-resort guest, this is the one.

The wetland holes on the back nine are the photographs — but the variety throughout is what wins the awards.

The marsh-side par 4

First taste of RTJ Jr.'s wetland routing. Tee shot must clear marsh; approach to a green guarded by wetland short.

9Par 5 · 540 yds
The risk-reward par 5

Reachable in two for long hitters but the green is guarded by water short and right. Most should lay up.

14Par 3 · 195 yds
The wetland par 3

All carry over wetland. Often plays into the wind. Bail-out left, water right.

18Par 4 · 445 yds
The closing test

Long par 4 with water down the right. Demands a precise tee shot to set up a long approach.
